Snake review

It was quite a show, I say. Last Saturday I and my best friend Shyam were at parasala channel ground for practicing H, to earn our driving license for car, the ultimate test we had to undergo on 5th of this month. My friend formally was in forest department, as officer. He has some kindness for wild creatures, which is known to me earlier. The place we were, do have something special I should say, this ground is actually over the irrigation canal, concreted and paved fertile soil over it. Our practice continued till one o’clock after noon. While friend was having practice, the instructor was standing near the car and giving guidance to him. Suddenly, an onlooker started shouting

“Snaaaaaaaaake,,, a snake under the car”.

Everybody (though I couldn’t realize that time) scattered apart, as we were standing lean to a car, parked nearby. We could locate the snake immediately as it was on the open ground; it crawled quickly towards compound wall of nearby house. It went into the chicken hut. By that time, my friend had finished his practice and came to the spot and voluntarily taken the task of capturing snake. Though his intention was to rescue the snake from the people, his actions were seems to kill it on the spot, he tried pull out the snake from the chicken hut with a stick. The snake came out through mesh hole, but stuck in the middle, couldn’t come out. Suddenly sticks and stones were fallen up on the snake; my friend could not do anything but stand still. But my good friend made an effort to demonstrate people that it was not a venomous snake. It didn’t have any venomous teeth. It was only some kind of coral snake.
It is true that, we harm creatures without knowing their nature. All snakes are not poisonous, yet we get scared of them and beaten them up.

A Happy Mind

Last night I watched West Indies verses Pakistan match of 2007 cricket world cup on my Black and white TV in which I have only doordarshan channel available. Thanks to the recent verdict of Supreme Court, I am proud to be part of democracy and being an Indian. When the corporate giants are ruling the world the way they want, this verdict really reflects judiciary’s effort to uphold freedom and right of common men. Though I am not fan of this game, I watched the live show with pleasure only to inhale my moral right.

My morning

Morning, it was pleasant wake up for me, I looked at the mobile phone screen it was 4’0 clock. Now days the jobs of the timepiece and wristwatches are taken over by mobile phones. My phone does have the feature of torchlight too. I rose out of the bed and reach to the light switch. Inconvenient, my cot is placed little away from electric switches but my cell phone comes handy.

As finished my morning rituals, it was five thirty. I got in to my dresses; it hardly took any time, Mounted on bike and started for office to conquer another day.
